Ostap Semerak: Government approved measures of implementation of the second stage of the visa-free regime

Yesterday, on August 20, at its session the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the National Action Plan on implementation of the second stage of the Action Plan on Visa Liberalization with the European Union.

This was announced today, on August 21, by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Ostap Semerak during a briefing at the Government House.

“Implementation of the steps envisaged by the Plan will create necessary technical prerequisites for the introduction by the European Union in 2015 of a visa-free regime for short stays of Ukrainian citizens in the EU," said the top official.

Moreover, Ostap Semerak added another decision taken by the Cabinet of Ministers the previous day stipulates that projects in European integration area shall be approved in the framework of the Governmental Committee chaired by the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
