PM and Government members took farewell of Metropolitan Volodymyr

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and members of the Government of Ukraine took part in the farewell to Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine on Sunday, July 6.

They laid flowers to the coffin of the Metropolitan and expressed their condolences to the members of the Synod, Bishops, clergy and faithful gathered in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that he had the opportunity to communicate many a time with Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Volodymyr. "He was a man of great wisdom. I can safely call him a man who sincerely loved Ukraine, was a true Ukrainian patriot," said the Prime Minister.
