MFA of Ukraine declares
that Ukraine does not recognize the legitimacy of the so-called
"parliamentary elections" held in South Ossetia on June 8, 2014.
MFA of Ukraine
confirms the invariability
of Ukraine’s position
regarding the territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally
recognized borders as well as non-recognition of independence of Abkhazia and
South Ossetia.
Ukraine supports peaceful
settlement of the conflict in Georgia on the basis of principles and norms of
international law.
Respect for the
sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within internationally
recognized borders is a determining factor in this process.
