The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Shvayka has made a request to the profile associations which unite food industry producers to render assistance, if possible, with provisions supply to the Ukrainian military. According to the Minister, Ukraine is facing serious financial and economic problems, there exists the threat to lose territorial integrity, the gains of freedom and democracy through the military aggression of the neighboring country, terrorist groups and separatist forces.

“Leaders of the country are taking every measure aimed at strengthening defense capacity of Ukraine, at ensuring everyone serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guards, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and protecting our country to be provided with everything they need. Food producers will never stand back and provide all necessary help they can.
