Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Government reduced "inherited overpayment" on taxes by UAH 3.6 billion

The Government reduced the overpayment on taxes by UAH 3.6 billion, which it inherited and compensated last month UAH 3.7 billion of VAT. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said this during an Hour of questions to the Government in the Parliament Friday, April 18.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the total overpayment by the VAT and income tax is UAH 37 billion: "As of today we have reduced overpayments by UAH 3.6 billion. Thus we recompense UAH 3.7 billion of VAT last month. UAH 1.3 billion will also be reimbursed on an automatic basis this month."

According to him already five companies "put on VAT refunds» and a register of businesses that are not reimbursed on an automatic basis is now being prepared.

The Prime Minister informed that he instructed the chief of the State Treasury Service in accordance with the law to publish "information on all enterprises that received VAT refunds."
