MFA hosts meeting with Secretary-General of Community of Democracies

On April 16, 2014, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky has met with Secretary-General of Community of Democracies Maria Leissner.

The interlocutors discussed the ways of cooperation targeting to strengthen the democracy in Ukraine and the world, curb corruption, facilitate development of civil society. They agreed to maintain exchange of experience in the mentioned areas.

The Secretary-General M. Leissner highly evaluated the role of Ukrainian society in the fight for the democracy, freedom and human rights.

D. Lubkivsky expressed readiness of Ukraine to exchange the experience in the direction of strengthening the democracy.
