About voting at polling stations abroad

Early presidential elections in Ukraine are set for May 25, 2014.

Exercising of the right of vote in the presidential elections by the Ukrainians who live or stay during preparation and conducting of the elections outside Ukraine is ensured by their inclusion in the list of voters at the respective polling stations abroad.

Due to the need for exercising by citizens of Ukraine, who temporarily or permanently live abroad, of the right of vote we announce that for the convenience of voters a service - Account of a voter has been introduced on the official website of the Central Election Commission www.drv.gov.ua.

Citizens can verify the information on their inclusion (not inclusion) into the State register of voters and polling stations’ addresses in the Account of a voter.

Please note, that according to part 9 of the article 36-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Election of the President of Ukraine" it is declared clear that in the election day to the updated list of voters at polling stations may be amended only corrects of inaccuracies and technical misprints, and submission of new voters does not provide.

Also please note that, due to the extremely short time of compiling voter lists established by the legislation, the relevant application must be submitted by voters in advance.
