Dmytro Bulatov: Eurobasket 2015 to be held in Ukraine

Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Basketball Federation of Ukraine do everything necessary in order the Eurobasket 2015 will take place in Ukraine. This was started by Minister of Youth and Sports Dmytro Bulatov during a briefing at the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

"Despite a number of problems, with which our country has faced, we will go through the preservation of Ukraine's reputation and find the possibility to host Eurobasket 2015 in Ukraine," Dmytro Bulatov said.

According to him, as today an audit of costs envisaged for the preparation and holding of the European championship in basketball in 2015 has been already assigned.

"We want to make public and transparent all financial indicators to strengthen investor’s confidence and get the financial support that will enable us to hold Eurobasket 2015 in Ukraine," the Minister said.

The Minister assured that he will make every effort so that the Eurobasket will be held in Ukraine, despite some difficulties with state funding.
