Arsenii Yatseniuk meets with Ukrainian expats in Washington

On Thursday, March 13, the Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk laid flowers to the monument to Taras Shevchenko and met with representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora in Washington.

Arsenii Yatseniuk told the expatriates about the situation in Ukraine, in particular in Crimea, and the steps made by the Government of Ukraine to settle the problem.

The Ukrainian representatives expressed their support to the people of Ukraine and the Head of the Government.

In the framework of the visit of the United States of America Arsenii Yatseniuk is to have a meeting with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.

Moreover, today the Prime Minister is to deliver speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York which is summoned to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
