PM calls on Prosecutor's Office to launch immediately an investigation and arrest those involved in the theft of Ministry of Defense

Offices of Prosecutor and Military Prosecutor should immediately initiate an investigation and arrest everyone who was involved in the theft of Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian PM A. Yatseniuk said about this from the parliamentary rostrum on Tuesday, March 11.

Yatseniuk has underlined that over the past four years has been carrying out "systematic sabotage to undermine national security and defense of Ukraine."

"Now the Government must deal with fuel supply in order to enable airplanes to fly. This is despite the fact that there are no budget allocations for such expenditure", the Prime Minister of Ukraine emphasized.

He has reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are supplied with 7000 tons of TS-1 (jet fuel) and 60 tons of fuel and lubricants.

The PM also said that despite the fact that there were three attempts to switch off the system of the National Bank and the Treasury in Crimea, the government found a way how to get to the Crimean military UAH 125 million, which the Cabinet allocated as a lump sum. "Every soldier will get his payment"
