S. Arbuzov expresses his condolences to those who died in yesterday's confrontation

Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov has expressed his condolences to relatives of the victims in yesterday's confrontation, and has assured that the Government will do everything possible to ensure timely allocation of aid to families of law enforcement officers injured while performing their duties.

The acting Prime Minister made a corresponding statement during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday.

"I note that the Government will make every effort to provide timely medical assistance to all victims during the riots and the necessary assistance to the families of dead police officers who have performed their duties," Serhiy Arbuzov said.

Due to the difficult situation prevailing in Kiev, the acting Prime Minister has recommended all government and educational institutions in Kyiv to treat with comprehension those who through traffic problems could get neither to work nor to study.

Moreover, he addressed to private companies with offices in the city center to allow women (especially mothers with children) not to attend their jobs until the situation stabilizes.

Serhiy Arbuzov has also urged the ministers to promote the maximum assistance to work of the media. "If it’s necessary, we should go to the channels themselves so as not to endanger journalists ", acting Prime Minister said.
