Dear citizens!

The negotiation process between the authorities and the opposition, that has been held during the recent days, has afforded to partially remove the strain in the society. There are no explosions and no breaking out Molotov cocktails on Hrushevskoho street.

Many people have reconsidered the events and understand that the heavy-handed approach is the way nowhere.

But the peace is not to everyone’s liking. Rightwing groups are planning to shake the world again and won’t even stop short at a terrorist action. The present operative information we possess and recent events in the House of Trade Unions where an explosion occurred prove all that. We don’t exclude that it [explosion] occurred in the process of making an explosive device.

Today is the day of opening of the Winter Olympiad in Sochi and criminals are trying to undermine this event and attract attention to themselves and their demands by their extremist actions.

Those who are planning criminal acts must remember the law enforcement officers have enough opportunities to find them and initiate criminal proceedings.
