Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Slovakia tackle bilateral cooperation

In the framework of a visit to Germany to participate in the work of the Munich Security Conference the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák.

Leonid Kozhara informed his counterpart about the recent steps of the Government of Ukraine directed to stabilization of the internal political situation of Ukraine.

The parties confirmed readiness of the leadership of Ukraine to further the tight dialog with representatives of the opposition to achieve the goal.

During the meeting the interlocutors confirmed the importance to faster settle the political crisis in Ukraine around the negotiation table, emphasized the need to strictly implement the achieved understandings, stressed unacceptability of signs of extremism in any forms.

Moreover, the Ministers discussed bilateral cooperation issues.
