Mykola Azarov thanked the Secretary General of the Council of Europe for the weighted estimate of the situation in Kyiv

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov thanked the Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland for weighted position concerning the situation in Kyiv. He said this during a meeting with Secretary General in Switzerland.

"I am very grateful to you for a weighted position concerning the situation in Kyiv. I understand the concern of European policymakers. Believe me, me as Prime Minister, worried no less. We are willing to accept all decisions in order to resolve the situation through compromise," Mykola Azarov said.

However, he stressed that the Government categorically rejects all the unconstitutional actions that are being taken place in the capital of Ukraine, and the actions are also not supported by the majority of the citizens of Ukraine.
