Ukraine and Lithuania to deepen cooperation in veterinary medicine, cattle breeding and land relations

Ukraine and Lithuania plan to continue cooperation in veterinary medicine, cattle breeding and land relations. Moreover, Ukraine is interested in adopting the best practices of Lithuania in the area of rural development. It was discussed during a meeting of deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Olexandr Sen and Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania Mindaugas Kuklierius that took place in the framework of the exhibition the Green week in Berlin.

“Lithuania and Ukraine have an experience of fruitful cooperation. Our countries were involved into realization of projects in veterinary medicine, land relations, cattle breeding. And Ukraine is interested in furthering cooperation in these directions. In addition, one more direction we would like to cooperate in is adopting the experience of Lithuania in rural development area. In particular, we are interested in an issue of integration of petty agricultural production into an economic chain,” Olexandr Sen noted.
