The principle of one stop window proved its effectiveness: 600 thousand appeals registered
In Ukraine during 2013, as a result of
generalization of information of local government concerning the functioning of
licensing centers and issuing by them permits on the principle of "the one
stop window" there were registered 596 922 appeals of entities. Compared
to the same period in 2012 it is in 2.09 times less: there were issued 323 976
permit documents (that is in 2.61 times less than in the same period of last
year); there were provided 536 425 consultations (that is in 1.67 times less
than in the same period of last year); there were registered 50 247 declarations (that s in 1.03 times less than in the same period last
year).
It is the outcome of the licensing reform that introduced
by the country's leadership. This effect has been achieved, notably through
actions to reduce the number of permits, optimization procedures for obtaining
permits and broad education campaign among businesses and among officials.
