Denys Maslov

Born in 1983 in Kryvyi Rih.

He holds degrees in law, economics and public administration. He graduated from Oles Honchar Dnipro National University with degrees in Law and Banking. He also graduated from Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law with a degree in Public Administration and Administration.

He began his professional career in 2004 in the banking sector as a legal adviser. He subsequently worked in the legal and management fields, holding senior positions in legal and private companies.

2010–2020 – Practised as a lawyer. 2016–2018 – Judge of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Dniprodzerzhynsk.

In 2020, assumed office as a Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation. In July 2020, became a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy.

Since July 2022, served as Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy.

On 26 June 2026, was awarded the title of Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine.

During his work in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, he focused on judicial reform, constitutional justice, the functioning of judicial governance bodies, the disciplinary liability of judges, improving judicial career procedures, and strengthening the institutional capacity of the justice system.

He was one of the initiators of a number of legislative amendments in the field of judicial reform, including measures to improve the competitive selection of judges to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, restore the disciplinary function of the High Council of Justice, establish the Disciplinary Inspectors Service, and amend judicial career procedures.
