The SWG are established in coordination with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the aim to: 

• Review priorities and progress in the implementation of the Government’s Program of Actions in relevant areas of state policy; 
• Coordinate with Development Partners joint activities in the framework of existing ITA programs and projects, and prepare future ones; 
• Mainstream cross-cutting issues (gender, digitalization, anti-corruption, etc.).

The SWGs are co-chaired by heads or deputy heads of central executive bodies and representatives of Development Partners. Where necessary, the SWGs can set up thematic subgroups to focus on specific sub-sectors.
