Boiko Yurii was born in 1972 in Rivne.
Education:
1955 - He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automatic Power Systems Control, qualification - electrical engineer.
2002 - graduated from the International Institute of Management, has a master's degree in Business Administration
2013 – graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the specialty "jurisprudence", where he qualified as a lawyer.
Carreer:
He began his career as a power engineer in the department of the Chief Power Engineer with the Rivne Radio Engineering Plant. Later he worked as an electrical engineer with ELVIS LLC, Rivne, inspector of the energy supervision inspection with OJSC AES Rivneenergo.
Since 2003 - worked in the specialty in management positions in the energy sector: director of the Brovary district of electric networks of JSC "A.E.S. Kyivoblenerho"; head of project management department, deputy director for production and operation of distribution networks, director for production for work to reduce losses, director for capital construction of the Department for operational activities of CJSC "A.E.S. Kyivoblenerho", Kyiv.
2009-2011 - worked as a Technical Director and then Vice-President of the Private Enterprise "Management Company "Metropolia".
September 2011 - October 2012 - worked as the Technical Director of the Private Enterprise LLC "New Energy Technologies Engineering Company", Kyiv.
November 2012 - October 2014 he worked in Chernihiv - Acting Chairman of the Board, and later Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Chernihivoblenergo".
October 2014 - May 2020 - Deputy Director for Economics and Finance of SE Energorynok.
From May 6, 2020 - Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
From June 10, 2020 - Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
November 20, 2020, Deputy Minister Yuriy Boyko was appointed temporarily acting Minister of Energy.
