Laputina Yulia was born in 1967 in the city of Kyiv.
Major General of the Security Service of Ukraine.
She has legal, pedagogical and psychological education.
1996 - graduated from the Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine with a degree in law, specialty - lawyer;
1988 - Kyiv State Institute of Physical Education, Physical Culture and Sports, specialty - teacher-instructor.
August 1988 - August 1992 - Junior Researcher of the Laboratory of Psychology of Personality Formation in Junior Students of the Research Institute of Psychology of the USSR (Kyiv).
August 1992 – May 2020 - military service in the Security Service of Ukraine.
Worked as Deputy Head of the Center for Special Operations "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of the State's Interests in the Field of Information Security of the SBU, Commander of the SBU Task Force in the ATO.
Took part in a number of complex operations to suppress the separatist coup in Crimea in 1994.
Since April 2014 - participation in the anti-terror operation.
From September to December 2014, the commander of the SBU task force on a rotational basis in the anti-terror operation.
From 2014 to 2020, she participated in the implementation of tasks to ensure the security of the state in the area of ATO/JFO.
August 2020 – December 2020 she worked as the Director General of the Directorate of Communication and Information Policy of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

On December 18, 2020, Yulia Laputina was appointed Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
