Viktor Liashko
Victor Liashko was born in 1980 in the village of Osova, Dubrovytsia district, Rivne region.
2003 - graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University, doctor.
2015 – finished extramural training course from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine (Faculty of Public Administration in the Healthcare Sector). He received a master's degree in public administration in the field of healthcare.
Postgraduate education:
2017 - WHO Barcelona course on strengthening health systems to improve TB control and treatment.
2016 - student of the course of thematic improvement "Modern aspects of public health", organized by Bogomolets National Medical University in collaboration with the University of California (San Francisco).
2014 - Bureau Veritas, received the Internal Auditor Certificate: Food Safety System Certification 22000 of Food Safety Management System, acknowledged by GFSI (based on ISO 22000: 2005, ISO / TS 22002-1: 2009 and ISO 19011: 2011 Standards).
Employment:
From 2003 to 2010 - worked in the system of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Kyiv region.
From 2010 to 2013 - had the career from the chief specialist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to the Director of the Department of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine.
From 2013 to February 2014 - headed State Institution "Kyiv Regional Laboratory Center of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine".
From 2014 to February 2018 - Chairman of the public organization "Infection Control in Ukraine". During this time, the organization implemented a grant project "Development and implementation of an optimal model of outpatient treatment of tuberculosis patients and their social support, as an effective way to improve the results of tuberculosis treatment in Ukraine."
From 2015 to February 2018 – served as a public health consultant for the USAID HIV Services Reform in Action Project.
From February 2018 to July 2019 - worked as the First Deputy Director General of the Public Health Center with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
From March 2020 till June 2021 - was Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine.
December 2019 - appointed Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine.
From May 20, 2021 - Minister of Health of Ukraine.
On July 17, 2025, he was appointed Minister of Health of Ukraine.
Social activities:
Public Health Expert in the Rehabilitation Reform Package 2014-2016.
2020 - awarded the title of "Honored Doctor of Ukraine".
Married. Has a daughter.
