Born on 11 November 1985 in Chernivtsi.
In 2008, she graduated from the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics, where she studied Finance and received a Master’s degree in Finance.
From May 2009 to May 2012, she was a postgraduate student at the National Research Centre “Institute of Agrarian Economics” of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. In May 2014, she was awarded a PhD in Economics, specialising in money, finance and credit.
She started her career at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics in 2008 as a lecturer at the Faculty of Finance.
Since 2012, she has been a researcher at the Institute of Agrarian Economics of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. She actively participated in the development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the state financial policy to stimulate the efficient production of competitive agricultural products.
In 2015, she became Chief Specialist of the Department for Life Safety, Environmental Protection and Agro-Industrial Complex at the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
In 2016, she became Director of the Department for Climate Change and Ozone Protection at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine. She actively participated in the implementation of international climate agreements, such as the Paris Agreement, and ensured Ukraine’s compliance with its obligations under the Kyoto and Montreal Protocols.
In 2019, she became a pro bono advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on environmental protection and climate change. In 2020, she held a similar advisory position at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
In 2022, she became Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, responsible for the European integration. She formed and implemented a policy on European integration, compliance and organisation of the fulfilment of Ukraine’s obligations under international treaties within the competence of the Ministry. She was in charge of developing and implementing measures to implement the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
In September 2023, she was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, where she coordinated the development of national and regional strategies, state target programmes, development plans in the energy sector, and Director of the Reform Support Office at the Ministry of Energy, where she implemented policies on the integration of energy markets with the EU, decarbonisation of energy and development of renewable energy sources, corporate governance, and energy security.
On 5 September 2024, she was appointed Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
