    Fomenko Svitlana
    acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine

    Born in 1976 in Kyiv.

    1999 - graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a major in Germanic Languages and Literature (Master's Degree).

    2011 - graduated with honors from the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPU) under the President of Ukraine with a major in Public Administration, European Cooperation.

    2015 - completed her postgraduate studies at NAPU, combining practical international activities with research in the field of European integration.

    Author of a series of scientific publications.

    Labour activity

    2004 - 2006 - Advisor to the Director General of the Kyiv City Council’s Directorate General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions.

    Since March 2007 - Chief Specialist, since 2008 - Head of the Department for International Cooperation and European Integration of the Office of International Relations at Kyiv City State Administration.

    Since 2013 - Head of the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

    August - December 2014 - Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine for European Integration.

    From 2015 – Advising Assistant to MP of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture and Spirituality.

    From April 2016 - First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine.

    From January 2020 - Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine for European Integration.

    On March 10, 2020 – appointed acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine

    Married, has a daughter.
