Roman Leshchenko was born on November 23, 1988 in the village of Penizhkove, Khrystynivka district, Cherkasy region.
2011 - received a full higher education in "Law" and a master's degree in law (master's degree with honors).
2015 - defended his dissertation titled "Financial and legal regulation of offshore mechanisms" (specialty 12.00.07), received a diploma of Candidate of Legal Sciences.
Since 2013 - he has been working as assistant, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Financial Law, Faculty of Law, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Author of the monograph "Financial and legal regulation of offshore mechanisms" (2018), co-author of the textbook "Financial Law" (2018).
Member of the Standing Legal Commission of the Academic Council of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
He was awarded a diploma of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration and Regional Council "For special services to Cherkasy region" (2018).
He is fluent in Ukrainian, English, Spanish, Polish and Russian.
By the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of June 10, 2020, Roman Leshchenko was appointed Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.
On December 17, 2020, he was appointed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
