Born in 1977 in Kharkiv.
Has higher education. In 1999 Chernyshov Oleksiy graduated from the Kharkiv University of Humanities "People's Ukrainian Academy", specialty "Enterprise Economics". In 2002 he graduated from the National University "Jaroslav the Wise Law Academy", specialty "Law".
1999 - undertook professional training according to the standards of the International Project Management Institute (Pennsylvania, USA).
1998 - worked for Telesens, a company that developed system software for the telecommunications business.
2012 - founded the investment and development company Eastgate Development, with a focus in activity on the development of large-scale commercial real estate projects, as well as attracting foreign investment in Ukraine and stabilization of the investment climate in the country.
2014 - founded the investment company VI2 Partners. The company's offices are based in Kyiv and Vienna.
2014 - founded the KyivVision Foundation, an organization dealing with leveraging investments to the country, supporting cultural projects, promoting Ukraine in Europe through the potential of contemporary Ukrainian art.
November 2017 - appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club URE Club.
October 28, 2019 - March 4, 2020 - Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
March 4, 2020 - appointed as Minister for Communities and Territories Development.
Married. Has two sons.
