Mykola Solskyi was born in 1979 in the village of Rosokha, Starosambir district, Lviv region.

1995 – 2000 - studied at the Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko at the Faculty of Law, majoring in "Jurisprudence", got qualification of a lawyer.
July 1999 - August 1999 - worked as a translator with the Joint Ukrainian-Canadian Enterprise "Emigration Bridge".
March 2000 - November 2001 – worked as a legal adviser at Enzym CJSC.
November 2001 - January 2003 - a legal adviser at Yefimov, Temnenko and Partners LLC.

August 29, 2019 - was elected Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Agrarian and Land Policy in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation.
On March 24, he was appointed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine
