Hanna Novosad was born in 1990.
2007 - graduated from Ukrainian Humanities Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. 2011 - received her bachelor's degree in political science from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
2013 - received her master's degree in European Studies from the Maastricht University (Netherlands). She is a fellow of the Open Society Foundation.
2012-2013 - underwent training at the think tanks of Spain and the Czech Republic. She was a participant of Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program.
2014 - 2019 - worked at the Ministry of Education and Science. March to November 2014 - held the position of Advisor to the Minister. November 2014 - December 2017 - headed the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science.
From December 2017 - held a position of Director General of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science.
2019 - was elected MP to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
On 29 August 2019, during the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation Hanna Novosad was appointed as Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
