    Oksana Markarova

    Deputy Chairman of the Nomination Committee – Minister of Finance of Ukraine

    Mrs. Oksana Markarova worked at International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and Chemonics Intl. Inc. providing consulting and development services. Mrs. Markarova served as an adviser on economic policy and manager of external & corporate communications at American private equity fund Western NIS Enterprise Fund (currently managed by Horizon Capital). Apart from the above, Oksana worked as a Director of ITT Capital. Mrs. Markarova received her Master's degree in Environmental Science from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and studied at Indiana University (Bloomington / USA). Ms. Oksana Markarova is a Member of the Supervisory Boards at Oschadbank, Ukreximbank, Ukrgasbank and Privatbank.

    Olexandr Sayenko

    Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

    Mr. Olexandr Sayenko worked at various jobs with the Central Division of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service and ran the School for Senior Civil Service. Mr. Sayenko worked as a long -term consultant on economic policy at the International Charitable Foundation 'Ukraine Economic Reform Fund'. Prior to his appointment, the Minister served as an advisor to the Vice -Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utility Services of Ukraine, and subsequently, headed the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Mr. Sayenko received the distinguished Esteemed Lawyer of Ukraine designation. He graduated from the National Academy of State Tax Service of Ukraine, specializing in Law. Olexandr received the training under the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership (USA) and the Canadian School of Public Service.

    Jason Brett Pellmar

    Chairman of Nomination Committee - Regional Manager of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova

    Since 2010 Mr. Jason Brett Pellmar works at IFC currently streamlining the implementation of IFC's investment program in Ukraine in excess of $ 3 Bio. Meanwhile, in Belarus Mr. Pellmar puts through an investment program approximating $ 300 Mio. while in Moldova he stewards the investment framework for nearly $ 200 Mio. For three years Mr. Pellmar was based in Myanmar's IFC Field Office where Jason led International Finance Corporation's business origination activities in Infrastructure, Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Services. Before relocating to Myanmar, Mr. Chairman was based in Turkey where he steered landmark infrastructure projects in Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining IFC, Jason managed a global portfolio of energy assets at GE Energy Financial Services (Connecticut, USA). Mr. Pellmar holds his Master's Degree in International Finance and Russian-Eurasian Studies from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C., United States, Fulbright Scholar (Russia).

    Matteo Patrone

    Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Eastern Europe

    Mr. Matteo Patrone has more than 25 years of experience in investment and finance. Mr. Patrone acted as a member of the supervisory board and boards of directors at various companies investing in direct investment funds. In 2008 he joined the EBRD and started working at the Bank's Corporate Investment Department in London. In 2012, he headed the EBRD office in Serbia, and in 2015 he was appointed as the Director and Regional Head of the EBRD in Romania and Bulgaria. Under his leadership, the EBRD's investment to these countries exceeded EUR 3 billion. Mr. Patrone received his MBA from INSEAD and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (diploma with honors) from the University of Genoa.

    Gösta Ljungman

    Permanent Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Ukraine

    In 2007 Mr. Gösta Ljungman joined the IMF. He worked for the IMF's Budget and Taxation Department and the Department of the Middle East and Central Asia. Mr. Ljungman received significant experience working with the East -European and transition economies. He joined the fiscal reform in Moldova, Montenegro, Ireland, Hungary, Serbia, Kyrgyz Republic, Kuwait, Oman and other countries. Prior to joining the IMF, Mr. Ljungman worked as the Minister of Finance of Sweden. He received his degree in economics from the University of Uppsala.

    Algirdas Shemeta

    Business ombudsman in Ukraine

    Since December 22, 2014, Mr. Algirdas Shemeta was nominated as a Business Ombudsman in Ukraine. His key tasks in this position involve active improvement of business climate, anti-corruption fight and implementation of international best practices in Ukraine. Mr. Shemeta is a Lithuanian and European politician, being twice the Minister of Finance of Lithuania, European Commissioner for Financial Programming and Budget, Taxation, Customs, Statistics, Audit and Anti- Fraud. Mr. Shemeta is a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania. He graduated from the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics and Finance, Vilnius University, specializing in economics and mathematics.

    The composition of independent non-state experts on the Nomination Committee was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of April 4, 2018, No. 346-р 'Appointment of Directors of Critical SOEs and Nomination Committee'.
