The growth of industrial production confirms the positive economic dynamics which are recorded by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. Thus, according to the State Statistics Service, industrial production in Ukraine in January-August of this year increased by 2.2% compared to the same period last year. Moreover, the key industries - extractive industry (2%), processing (2%), energy supplies (2.9%) and construction (5.7%) generated this growth. In the building sector, construction of engineering networks and structures, namely industrial workshops, roads and communications, has significantly increased (11.9%).
The production of iron ore concentrates, meat products, dairy products, and light industry products - fabrics and finished products grew steadily over the period of 8 months.
At the same time, there is an increase in retail trade turnover and an average salary, which, on the outcomes of the year and according to the Government's forecasts can make up UAH 10 thousand.
All of this confirms the growth rate of the economy, which according to the second quarter, grew by 3.8%, and is a further proof of rising domestic demand and increasing the purchasing power of the population.
