On 1 December, a new digital mechanism for importing humanitarian aid to Ukraine will be launched.
Recipients will be able to submit a declaration online using the Automated Humanitarian Aid Registration System. At the same time, there will be a transition period with the possibility of submitting a paper declaration until 1 April next year. The form and content of the declaration remain the same in both mechanisms.
The electronic system will create a transparent record of humanitarian aid, facilitate the procedure for its importation and distribution, and prevent abuse during the importation and use of humanitarian aid.
Letters of guarantee from the military, as well as requests for supplies and all other certificates, are cancelled. Reporting has also been simplified - now reports can be generated in a digital system based on declarations, and most data will be pulled up automatically.
How will humanitarian aid be delivered from 1 December? In the same way as before.
