Today, on November 11, during the Conciliation Council’s meeting at the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksiy Honcharuk stressed that the Government has outlined the most important standards for the provision of administrative services, especially in the regions.
"There are certain standards that we have highlighted: queueing time, application response time, determining the top fifty priority administrative services provided to citizens," Oleksiy Honcharuk underlined while answering questions from lawmakers.
The Prime Minister emphasized that district state administrations should improve the quality of work and its efficiency, with a higher quality of administrative services provision.
"The changes we proposed are based on a functional analysis of district state administrations, regional state administrations. For a long time there have been functions that are not performed but exist only on paper. Moreover, proposed staffing cut will in no way affect the quality of administrative services. And money saved will be directed to the improvement of work", the Prime Minister of Ukraine underscored.
Oleksiy Honcharuk added that the abovesaid transformations are aimed to reduce inefficiency of the processes that are taking place today in many state and regional authorities.
"Today there is excessive number of functions assigned to the state authorities. We are not firing people, we are reducing functions," the Head of Government stated.
