Communications Department of the Secretariat of the CMU, posted 27 November 2019 15:29

Today, on November 27, the Government has approved a bill to digitize the employment history record book. The Government's decision will help to reduce bureaucratic procedures and digitize processes.

“Workers will not have to continue the Soviet-era practice of collecting a batch of documents to confirm their record of service in case of a record book loss or inconsistencies in employment history. Meanwhile, pensions and social benefits will gradually be assigned automatically, avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy and the need to visit the offices of the Pension Fund,” comments Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk.

In accordance with the decision of the Government and, if the bill is approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the electronic version of the employment record book will reduce the burden on employers and self-employed workers – individual entrepreneurs. The Government's decision is also aimed to simplify job hunt and recruitment procedures.
