The Government has transferred UAH 170 million to the accounts of recipients of microgrants for starting or developing a business under the eRobota grant program. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

“Introduced in 2022 by the Government, the eRobota grant programs to support entrepreneurship remain in effect, and today another 717 Ukrainians have received microgrants for starting or developing their business totaling UAH 170 million. These funds were received by the winners of the last two waves of the Vlasna Sprava program in the past year and some of the winners who applied for microgrants this year,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.

Under the Vlasna Sprava program, Ukrainians can receive financial support from the state in the form of a microgrant in the amount of UAH 50,000 to 250,000. The funds can be used to purchase or lease equipment, buy raw materials and supplies, and rent premises. Both an established entrepreneur and a person with no experience in such activities can receive a microgrant. A prerequisite for receiving funds is the creation of 1-2 jobs. Ukrainians who received microgrants last year created about 8,000 new jobs.

This year, the budget envisages UAH 1.8 billion for the Vlasna Sprava program, which will allow issuing about 10,000 microgrants.

As a reminder, the Government’s eRobota project includes grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship and job creation. These include microgrants for starting or developing one’s own business, grants for setting up and developing processing facilities, planting orchards, viticulture, and greenhouses. Applications for all areas of the eRobota program are submitted through the Diia portal.
