To ensure the implementation of the President's commission, repair work on the road between Severodonetsk and Stanytsia Luhanska has been launched. This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii on April 9.

“Last fall, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to repair this entire road. In March, the winners of the tenders were determined and the active stage of road repair activities in the first section started. Now the current average repair on four sections has triggered,” said Vladyslav Kriklii.

The road runs from border checkpoint "Stanytsia Luhanska" - the only crossing point in the territory of Luhansk region, to the administrative center of the region. Before the introduction of quarantine, the daily traffic of people had amounted to 10,000 to 13,000.

Workers have begun repairs on four sites. The total length of the route is 123 km.

As a whole, 150 sites are undergoing major construction activities under the Great Construction program.
