The development of children - from the preschool education to the higher educational institution should become a focus for  government authorities at all levels, especially for local authorities.  This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.

"We need to bring every good thing to our children, so they could be successful and competitive. For us, the priority is a child’s development. And this is a complex of actions - from the support of educators and to the creation of accessible and equal educational environment in Ukraine", the Head of the Government claimed.

According to the Prime Minister, this is a challenging  task, because now the level of support and opportunities is different. But cooperation with local self-governments aimed at considering and solving problems will yield  result. For example, in synergy with local authorities, a program to overcome queues in kindergartens is being implemented as well as due to local budget funding the schools are being equipped.

"We are implementing the standards of the New Ukrainian School. It's time to change the requirements for education and make them competitive, in order to keep up in line with the modern world ", Volodymyr Groysman added.
