russia's all-out war against Ukraine will be a new baseline in the world history. Processes that have triggered and are to be launched will bring about transformations not just in geopolitical realities, but in the world economy and energy markets as well.

Ukraine has reiterated in talks with our partners for years that russia is far from a reliable supplier of energy resources. Dependence on it in energy matters poses a threat to national security. Now russia is again trying to use energy as a weapon. By breaking obligations and contracts. By disconnecting pipelines.

russia has cut off gas deliveries to Poland and Bulgaria. Now we can hear similar threats towards Finland. Moreover, Gazprom cut off supplies to the EU through the Polish gas transit system and significantly reduced the deliveries via the Ukrainian one. russia's gas monopoly refuses to fill European gas storage facilities, worsening the situation with prices in European markets. With this in mind, we hope and will convince our allies for the oil and gas embargo to be in place in the following sanctions packages.

In the Ukraine Recovery Plan, we deem it essential to achieve full energy independence of our state. First of all, we are talking about a considerable increase in domestic gas production aimed to meet the domestic needs 100% with the national resources. We have proved our capability of not only providing ourselves with electricity, but exporting it to Europe. It is particularly relevant in the context of the connection of the Ukrainian energy system to the European ENTSO-E. These days our state-run enterprise Ukrhydroenergo has triggered electricity export to Moldova. Apart from that, we plan to resume the operation of extra power grids with Poland to ensure the export of Ukrainian nuclear energy. Therefore, it would help Europe to abandon russian gas faster.

Not only has Ukraine been ultimately disconnected from the energy system with russia and belarus, but it has also lost its dependence on their petroleum products. It is undoubtedly challenging for the domestic market. But the Government works day after day to secure sufficient fuel supplies in Ukraine. Today, I will ask First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to report on this issue.

I need only add that today the Government is to endorse a document by which we transfer 172 Glusco petrol stations under the management by the state-owned company Naftogaz. It will also help in overcoming fuel shortages. We have a court decision that provides for the transfer of relevant property to the state. We comply with it. The position here is clear: the assets of russia and related companies in Ukraine should be transferred to our state and will work for the benefit of our country and all Ukrainians.

Today we have on the agenda a decision to resume inspections in companies that provide utilities to Ukrainians. In particular in the energy sector. I will explain why this decision was made. Unfortunately, the Government has received more than one appeal from Ukrainians regarding unreasonably high sums in utility bills. Therefore, it is crucial to put things in order promptly.

Before moving on to the agenda, a few more words about expanding Ukrainian export opportunities. First of all, pertaining to our agricultural products.

Yesterday, the European Commission announced the creation of Solidarity Lanes. These are alternative routes allowing the sides to speed up the export and operation of customs between Ukraine and the EU. In order to enhance logistics, the European Commission will also set up a special platform to simplify border crossing through the Solidarity Lanes and recommend that the EU market participants provide additional trucks and other transport capacities.

Furthermore, the European Commission has already decided to conclude an agreement with Ukraine updating the maps of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). That is, apart from significant expansion of opportunities for our exports, we continue to maximize integration into European projects. This is extremely important on the path to our full membership in the EU.

Hence, we prolong working in synergy to achieve our victory. Glory to Ukraine!
