Fellow compatriots! 

On behalf of the Government I congratulate you on the Constitution Day of Ukraine!

These days Ukraine is undergoing radical transformations through introducing structural reforms and modernizing a number of sectors of the national economy. The success of many undertakings is impossible without relevant legal basis, enshrined in our statehood and system of justice, impossible without a constitutional culture and a constitutional framework, which enables us to make a consistent progress in our advancement towards the European democratic community.

The Constitution of Ukraine is our guide and the essential trier. I believe that due to the democratic achievements of Ukrainian civil society, especially during the Revolution of Dignity, the significance of the constitutional culture, in particular the imperative effect of the Fundamental Law of Ukraine, is only ramping up in our country. Personal responsibility and indifference to the path our state and society is paving, to what future awaits the succeeding generations, is a strong civil position that unites millions of Ukrainians, that makes us equal with the Europeans in spirit and blood.

I am excited to see our citizens with dignity standing up for their constitutional rights and the constitutional order within the state: starting with the defense of the country on the eastern borders, where Ukrainians dispute the advance of the world of imperial authoritarianism, military aggression and systemic deprivation of human rights, and ending with a number of social movements that demonstrate zero tolerance to insufficient observance of the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine in these or those spheres of social life. This means the rebooting of the country - a refusal to live in line with old, shadow orders enwrapped with corruption, the desire to act and introduce radical changes, which would contribute to raising the citizens capacities, which would enable the country becoming technologically and economically developed.

Ukrainians with dignity pass this exam in the beginning of the XXI century, at the time when those countries and societies show of the maximum efficiency where people value freedom, honest competition, openness, optimism and respect for other cultures and peoples.
