Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told about the program of economic invigoration of Ukraine
During the press conference on the results of 100 days of the Government's activity, Denys Shmyhal noted that the Ukrainian Government has worked out more than 230 concrete measures to overcome the consequences of the crisis inflicted by the coronavirus.
The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers determined the support of micro, small and medium-sized businesses as one of the key areas of activities. "We have already allotted UAH 4 billion for the 0% loan refinancing program for small businesses. We have already developed a "New Money" program, thereby enabling entrepreneurs to take new loans for business development. A total of UAH 10 billion will be allocated for these preferential loans programs this year and UAH 10 billion next year," the Prime Minister stressed.
Denys Shmyhal also emphasized the introduction of the "regulatory guillotine" principle and the elimination of a number of economic investigation units in all control services being an important step in a bid to facilitate entrepreneurship development.
"We are planning to introduce a zero declaration. Abolishing the total fiscalization of STS taxpayers with the full implementation of PTR (Payment Transaction Recorders) software, which is critical, as it would provide a significant simplification in work for small and micro-scale businesses," said the Prime Minister.
In addition, Denys Shmyhal stressed that the Government has a different model of industrial development, and the main vectors of support in this area should be as follows: domestic procurement, export development programs, resumption of full operation of the Export Credit Agency, changes in certain elements of the Prozorro program on production localization.
"We have to provide valuable support to the domestic producer who creates jobs, who pays taxes in Ukraine, who creates added value. Localization will definitely be one of the important elements of such support," accentuated the Prime Minister.
