The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal presented valuable gifts to the educators who distinguished themselves by heroic actions during the full-scale russian invasion. The awarding ceremony took place at the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2022 national ceremony.
"Despite the fact that the enemy attacked our land, 3,000 schools were destroyed or damaged, 1,200 are under occupation, the educational process continues, because teachers understand the importance of their educational mission. 900 teachers went to the front. This is a great example of serving the people of Ukraine. We owe a great debt to you, the teachers. Of course, we do everything it takes to ensure that the educational process continues and is safe. We exert every effort to make Ukrainian education an integral part of the European educational space," stressed Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday and wished them inspiration, respect, warm smiles of their pupils, as well as peace and victory.
