Authorized banks are dynamically increasing the loan portfolio under the program "Available Loans at 5-7-9%". Last week, 207 new loan agreements worth UAH 666 million were concluded.
In total, as of August 17, 2020, 2,198 loans totaling UAH 4.893 billion have already been issued.
Last week, under the state program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", banks refinanced more than half a billion hryvnias (UAH 590 million) and provided UAH 76.2 million in investment loans and working capital loans.
During this week, the program's investment loan portfolio increased by UAH 50.4 million. As of August 17, it amounts to UAH 921.228 million.
In total, under the program, there have already been refinanced loans worth UAH 3.885 billion and issued investment loans and working capital loans in the amount of UAH 1.007 billion.
Under a special crisis response credit package of the program, which was introduced by the Government for the period of quarantine restrictions due to the global pandemic COVID-19, entrepreneurs have already received loans amounting to UAH 89.9 million.
The leaders in the amount of agreements concluded under the program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%" are commercial banks. In particular, Raiffeisen Bank Aval ranks first with the amount of UAH 880.370 million. Quite a bit behind the leader is Credit Agricole Bank, customers of this bank under the program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%" received loans amounting to UAH 815.332 million. And the third place - Credo Bank with the amount UAH 704.749 million. However, the lion's share of loan portfolios of these banks under the program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%" falls within refinancing. Raiffeisen Bank Aval demonstrates 97% of all agreements concluded under the program for refinancing of previously received loans. Credit Agricole - all 100%. And Credo Bank - 94%.
Instead, investment loans are more confidently issued by state-owned banks. 70% of issued by Ukrgasbank under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program are investment loans. In total, the bank has already financed micro and small businesses in the amount of UAH 604.365 million under the program since February this year. Oschadbank issued loans in the amount of UAH 295.946 million, of which 86% were investment loans (UAH 253.217 million). Privatbank concluded agreements to the tune of UAH 387.764 million, of which 62% (UAH 240.324 million) were investment loans and 37% (UAH 142.418 million) were for refinancing purposes.
It should be noted, as of August 10, a loan under the Program can be obtained in the following banks: JSC "Oschadbank", JSC "Ukrgasbank", JSC CB "PrivatBank", JSC "Ukreximbank", JSC JSCB "Bank Lviv", PJSC "PUMB", JSC "BANK ALLIANCE ", JSC "KREDOBANK", PJSC "BANK VOSTOK", JSC "Raiffeisen Bank Aval", JSC "TASKOMBANK", JSC "Alfa-Bank", JSC "CB "GLOBUS", JSC "MEGABANK", JSC "POLYCOMBANK", JSC "CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK", as well as Creditwest Bank and OTP Bank.
"Initiated by the President and supported by the Government, the program to support micro and small businesses "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%" has recently crossed the half-year mark. It has already proven its effectiveness and continues to be in demand among both entrepreneurs and banks. In the last month alone, authorized banks received 1,680 new applications for loans under the program. And in 6 months, about 5,300 packages of documents submitted by entrepreneurs for obtaining a loan have already been processed. At that, almost 27% of customers received a positive decision from the bank. A little more than 3,000 applications are in the work of authorized banks. In general, over the last month, banks have managed to increase by 93% the number of agreements concluded under the program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", - said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko.
