Pavlo Rozenko: Automatic recalculation of pensions will get underway next year

Starting from March 2019, the annual automatic recalculation of retirement payments for all citizens will be launched. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko on air of TV channel 5.

"The main positive effect of the pension reform that people will feel in 2019 is the establishment of a norm of automatic recalculation of pensions. Revaluation of  superannuation will not depend on the government's decisions; it will be held automatically," the Vice Prime Minister stressed.

"Starting from March 1, all categories of citizens, all pensioners will receive a pension recalculation based on changes in the coefficients and on the basic amount of the minimum wage according to which pensions are calculated," Pavlo Rozenko explained.

He underlined that from January 1, 2019, pensions for servicemen will be recalculated.
