Payment sizes for  gas and communal services for recipients of the housing and utilities subsidy (HUS) program will not be changed. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko announced on air of Espresso TV channel.

"The recalculation of gas prices will not affect recipients of subsidies because they  pay and will be paying a fixed monthly payment. Those people who are not able to  pay a full amount  for housing and utility services or gas should visit the local social security offices and apply for a subsidy", the Vice Prime Minister said.

Pavlo Rozenko stressed that any decision on price alteration should be taken after amending  the new system of subsidies. "These changes that took place in the subsidy system should be adjusted. Only after making amendments and solving problems that today concern citizens, the question of changing the gas price can be considered.  I hope that in the near future the Ministry of Social Policy will implement  the corresponding decisions of  the government committee that I chair, and the Prime Minister's instruction, and necessary adjustments will be made to the system of subsidies", the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
