After recalculations the average size of pensions increased makes up UAH 514, announced Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko during a  conference call.

"I want to recall that the Government has decided that the increase in pensions can not be less than UAH 100. Today, the average amount of increase for retires after recalculation is about UAH 514," Pavlo Rozenko said.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the increase looks like follows:  from UAH 100 to 400–2.5 million people; from UAH 400 to 700 – 1.5 million people; from UAH 700 to 1000 –500 thousand people. "And I am pleased to note that 2.5 million Ukrainians got an increase of more than UAH 1,000. I emphasize that this is a monthly surplus to the pension", the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

He also recalled that about 2 million 100 thousand pensioners who have a long record of service, but receive a pension less than UAH 1,700 will receive additional one-time pension payments  worth UAH 2,410. "This amount will be paid in two tranches – UAH 1,205  on March 1 and UAH 1,205 on April 1", Pavlo Rozenko underscored.
