During the regular meeting of the Committee for the Appointment of Heads of Enterprises of Critical Importance for the Economy on August 2, 2021, independent members and representatives from the state were selected to the Supervisory Board of JSC Odesa Port Plant (JSC OPP).
In particular, a number of interviews were conducted during the meeting and three independent members and two representatives of the state to the Supervisory Board of Odesa Port Plant JSC were selected. Candidates had the opportunity to voice their vision of the company's development, taking into account the competencies and answering questions from members and independent experts of the Committee.
"The purpose of the Committee's work is to elect a professional supervisory board for the company, the members of which will have the necessary expertise and competencies to determine the course of development in order to improve economic performance, introduce mechanisms to prevent corruption, etc. The plant is included in the SPFU list of large-scale privatization objects. Therefore, it is important to improve the economic results of its activities so that the state can hold a successful competition," said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko during the meeting.
In total, 77 people submitted documents to the competition, of which the recruitment company formed a shortlist of 15 people. Careful work was carried out on the questionnaires of the participants on the analysis of competencies, level of professionalism, managerial maturity, issues of avoiding conflicts of interest of candidates were studied, etc.
Also during the meeting, the requirements for the selection of members of the Supervisory Board of the State Enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine were approved.
