Ministry of Infrastructure and State Property Fund will ensure a transparent and competitive competition for leasing facilities at Boryspil Airport
Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and State Property Fund of Ukraine will ensure holding a transparent and competitive competition for the lease of property of the Boryspil Airport. This was stated by Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii and Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko today, December 10, 2019.
"The issue of renting at Boryspil airport has not been resolved since April 2018. Previously, one large lot was offered for rent at Boryspil Airport, which really limited the number of participants in the competition. The procedure has not been changed until today. If we want to get more income from rentals we have to change approaches to it. What is currently being offered? We have a common stand with the State Property Fund - there must be competition between potential lessees. The one who offer the best conditions will rent", the Minister of Infrastructure noted.
"We have agreed with the Ministry of Infrastructure that only objects with a designated area and purpose will be leased. It will allow to ensure transparency of the competition and to use state property more effectively", the Chairman of the State Property Fund stated.
The SE "Boryspil International Airport" plans to offer for lease premises located in Terminals F and D on a competitive basis. This will improve the quality of passenger service and increase the revenues of the state-owned company.
The competition is organized and conducted by the Regional Office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
