Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman urges entrepreneurs to remedy all violations of the safety standards  in public places - from schools and kindergartens to large shopping malls. The Head of Government  announced during the Government sitting.

"It is crucial to address violations. People have to feel completely safe, it applies to schools, kindergartens and other institutions", the Head of Government stated.

In the course of the Government session, officials heard a report by the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin on conducting inspections of public places. According to him, 41% of the objects from the general list of those subject to inspections have been checked. More than 12 thousand administrative fines were imposed, and  lawsuits regarding closure due to neglect of security standards were filed against 400 objects. The worst situation is observed in Chernivtsi, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk and  Odesa regions. The Head of SESU added that  inspections are continued, and almost 30% of defects and problematic issues are resolved during inspections.

The Prime Minister instructed  to continue monitoring the situation. " If something will happen in places where violations of safety standards exist, those who are guilty will be brought to justice. Information about the danger areas will be provided to the heads of the Regional State Administrations and they will be obliged to carry out additional inspections. And then we will unveil the names of those who endanger public safety", the Prime Minister underscored.

He placed a special emphasis on the preparation of  summer camps for children. "It is important to ensure verification commissions be uncompromising. There can be no compromise on security issues", the Head of Government stressed.
