Today, December 11, the National Police received 30 specialized vehicles to control the technical condition of vehicles within the framework of the State Road Safety Improvement Program. Soon they will go on Ukrainian roads. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy.

"Road safety is our priority No. 1. New special cars for the National Police, transferred under the State Traffic Safety Program, will be used to check the technical condition of vehicles on Ukrainian roads - to measure the level of smoke, truck turns, headlight blindness and whether the car can prolong driving. The inspections will cover not only trucks but also light vehicles and taxis," the Minister said.

Technical Station Cars were created on the basis of the Renault Master vehicle and can operate in all weather conditions. Their total cost is UAH 60 million.

The cars are equipped with a full-fledged workplace with a table, a chair, a protected modern laptop and a printer. The cars are also equipped with the necessary devices to check the condition of vehicles - a device for determining the transmittance of glass, noise meter, headlight meter, smoke meter and gas analyzer, steering wheel gauge, a set of rotary devices for trucks and a tread depth gauge.
