An Anti-Corruption
Court, as the final chain in the development of anti-corruption infrastructure
in Ukraine, should be independent and trigger its operation as quickly as
possible, Volodymyr Groysman
said in an interview with Latvian television channel.
"We have
created a system of anti-corruption authorities within a few years. We have a National Agency on Corruption
Prevention, National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Anti-Corruption
Prosecutor's Office. What’s left is to set up the Anti-Corruption Court,"
said Volodymyr Groysman, "I
advocate this court to be independent. Then it will be a guarantee for everyone
that it would issue fair rulings. The Court must rule whether a person under
investigation is guilty or not, will be set free or punished. This Court should
be set in motion very quickly."
