Within the scope
of the civil service reform, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine changed the
structure of wages for officials and cut the share of supplementary benefits, thereby
disabling any discriminatory actions in the future, in particular, accrual of
excessive premiums. Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
stressed, commenting on the decision and adding it is about the strict
observance of the existing legislation.
"I am talking about preventing officials from accrual for themselves mega bonuses. It is about changing the structure of the payment. It is crucial to control appetites and prevent situation when increments are overcharged," the Head of Government said. "When people receive high-quality service from an official on the ground, then we can talk about incentive allowance."
