
Update of the operation of the register for automated VAT refund
Since April
1, 2017, the system for automated VAT refund has been working successfully.
Companies now can plan their expenses and processes and expect regular VAT
refund.
Starting
from April 1, 2017, 13861 refund applications amounting almost 50.2 billion
(50,181,030,081 hryvnias) hryvnias have been submitted to the Register. Refund
applications which have been rejected and/or disputed amount 169.2 million
hryvnias. Notifications about the rejection of tax declarations or corrective
calculations (article 49 of the Tax Code) amount 10.5 billion hryvnias. 28.4
billion hryvnias (28,415,789,358 hryvnias) have been refunded so far, the
pending VAT refund is equal to 9.6 billion hryvnias (including pending amounts
for applications received in April, May and June which amount 45 million hryvnias,
84.2 million hryvnias and 873.7 million hryvnias respectively).
In August,
11 refund applications were submitted to the Register totaling more than 15.3
million hryvnias (15,304,373 hryvnias), notifications about the rejection of
tax declarations or corrective calculations (article 49 of the Tax Code)
amounted 174.2 thousand hryvnias, no refund transactions have been effected so
far.
Since the
launch of the new VAT refund procedure, almost 41.3 billion hryvnias have been
refunded.
